Mr. George W. Sarano was a busy man in Prescott’s mining era. He was purportedly a Mining District Tributary ‘map maker’, mining claim owner, traveller, expert assayer affiliated with George U. Young, and apparently a part of the Ideal Co. Mining operation on Groom Creek? It is safe to say if that was the case…that Sarano was also apart of the Ideal Co’s lode claims at the Lowry-Hill property and camp which was located ‘about six miles west of Prescott’.
