This is an example of a fictitious township plat. It is the original G.L.O. plat from the ‘survey’ of Soloman W. Foreman in 1871, a (Benson Syndicate affiliate surveyor). Many purported titles from U.S. patent deeds, were issued based upon this ‘survey’ and many others like it.

The original Township 14 North Range 3 West Government Land Office Survey, purportedly performed by Soloman W. Foreman U.S. Deputy Surveyor was of record, completed August 1-10 1871, under the reign of John Wasson Surveyor General U.S. Arizona Territory.
