Gurley Solar Transit, 1907

A light mountain solar transit was the instrument purportedly used in 1907 for the United States mineral survey MS2424, which was incorporated by reference, and later used as the basis for mineral patent to the Madizelle Mining Company in 1921. The Highland Pines ‘Highland Park’ area in Prescott Arizona Yavapai County, is purportedly based upon the MS2424 ‘survey’.
